Getting the Iron Key
Before the reset kicks in, temple in Terra or Trollheim. Right after the resets go to the Sylvan road and stop at the outpost closest to Trollheim. From this outpost, go back 1 west, 3 north, 2 east, 1 south, 1 east and 1 south to arrive at the Swamp Worm. Kill it and pick up the Iron Key. This key is not one-use so if you don’t loose it, you won’t have to do this part ever again. Now make your way to the Abandoned Outpost which is somewhere east of the outpost nearest to Trollheim. You'll need this Iron Key to enter and leave this place.
Getting the Magical Staff
Once you entered the abandoned outpost, go to the square marked with a red X. Kill these monsters until one of them drops a Prybar. You’ll need this (not one-use) key to open access to the vault. Remember that once the vault is opened, others don’t need a prybar anymore to enter. Anyway, now that you got the Prybar, go back 1 east, 1 north, 2 west. From here go south and west and go down (using a rope). You’re now in a dark maze below the abandoned outpost, don’t forget to bring your torches. This maze is inhabited by dozens of draggable venomous Giant Spider's. To avoid getting overwhelmed by these spiders, it is important to Iwuganti yourself, use a Flash pot if you're a Monk or your sneak abilities if you are a Thief or Assassin. Make your way to the square one east from the square marked with a red M. Search and go west to find a Lesser Gargoyle and a bunch of giant spiders. Since the gargoyle is not draggable it might be a good idea to go back east and sneak back in once the spiders are dragged away. Kill the gargoyle and pick up the Magical Staff. Now you could log off (which would warp you straight towards the Terra Tavern) or you could go back to the abandoned outpost to get the Steel Sword.
Getting the Steel Sword
From the gates where you enter the abandoned outpost, go 4 east and 1 north to arrive at the tavern. Here, you need to type in ‘/push silver stone’ to reveal a passage leading down. Go down, one north and one west. Kill the Demon Hound and pick up the Steel Sword.
